None I’m aware of that the users themselves have the ability to grow organically. The network of nodes building payment channels is laying the foundation for instant, nearly free cash settlement. This is not at odds with anything Satoshi envisioned, and in fact is directly in line with the ideas Hal Finney discussed early on.

agree with all of this but need to add that even if something were at odds with what satoshi envisioned, we can take a different path. he’s no king and was actually pushed out from the history i’ve been able to read about that era.
what matters is people joining the network (running nodes) and making conscious decisions about how to achieve consensus on a ledger that we all reference.
