Could you tell me what you’re producing with these? Is it for zoom calls or are you producing content?
Discussion
Nothing yet but id like to begin recording video interviews via live video call with a platform like riverside.fm whose annual membership I paid and pretty much wasted due to prolonged inaction.
For content, I would recommend not a webcam. But if budget doesn’t allow something better, I’ve had pretty decent success with Logitech webcams for simple meetings (which we record) that have pretty nice picture.
4K resolution doesn’t mean much with webcams. I’d look for clarity and color reviews as the quality of the sensor matters much more than the resolution above 1080p.
I’m sorry for not having insight into the exact models. If you have budget for a real camera at any point, I can be much more specific.
Unfortunately, my Soni @6300 I bought for that purpose at some point it's been a while now got stolen just when I started using it. I just upgraded my phone for the camera for on the go content and figured that's what I'd spend the money for vs. a camera. Thank you, for your insight. I will sit on that for a bit and see what I wanna do here.
Thank you, for the zap. ⚡️🫂🙏
you can also use HIRES CAMERA on phone by PAIRING via USB or BT on PC / MAC
or do video calls directly from mobile
Not sure I can do riverside straight from phone in good quality but I guess worth exploring. I am not familiar with Hires Camera. Where can I find more about it?
not sure about Apple Mac - but linux / win world a lot of stuff there - look for "driodcam for pc" one example
also always look n pay for TIERED METERED PAYMENTS for services than FIXED monthly payments - any service in fact.
