I’m getting a lot of the same spam messages on Signal. Wtf is this bullshit. I don’t even use that mobile # for online sign ups.
One of their providers got hacked recently and leaked a bunch of numbers, maybe other stuff too.

Bloody hell. Thanks. I was not aware. More reason to end it for me. No messaging app should really be asking for my mobile #.
That’s why I don’t use it, signal just seems sus to me. A chat app doesn’t need my number.
