The fiat mines have been reworking job title classifications and calling it a "modernization effort". I was a Systems Administrator Level 4 for 6 years. Now I'm a Systems Administrator Advanced Professional. If I look at the chart, that title is in position 3 out of 5 total, the same as before. I got a downgrade during this "modernization".

Haha...no, but this makes me rethink all the times I worked early mornings, nights, and weekends, bringing my fucking laptop to friends and family events in case we had issues or people had deadlines and needed me. I was literally working on vacation down in my Miami hotel room every morning. Even the morning I was hungover as hell.
I guess this is what Jeff Booth meant by the future is deflation?
They have to continually adjust everything. They have to steal from you in multiple ways. Inflation, taxes, age to full retirement, salary increases etc.
At this point, fiat jobbing is mostly a test of endurance. I get to shit it up with my friends, some of the funniest and most intelligent people I know, so that blunts the impact to my emotional well being.
