#[0] is there something wrong with follower counts on iris? Using this account with the same relays on iris, snort, and amethyst, iris has follower counts something like 1/10 the others. E.g., your account currently shows 93 followers on iris.to, but 1000 on snort.social and 855 on amethyst. This is true for every account with more than a few hundred followers that I have checked.

Your follower count may seem lower on Iris than other clients. Iris rejects events from authors that your social network has not interacted with (liked, followed, replied etc). You get way less spam and the follower count number is lower for the same reason.

I see, good to know! Is there some way to disable this option? I expect the relay to take care of this for me, not the client. CC #[4]

Not at the moment.

Alright, well please keep it as a backburner suggestion. I am mainly using iris, but switching to another option for checking follower counts is a bit of a nuisance sometimes. (And it is useful sometimes, e.g. if someone is a real account they will have a much higher following than an imposter.)

Thanks!
