Reticulum pops up again, naturally.

Very interested but don't see this in my fdroid. Is there a repo for it?

This is extremely cool!

I’ll need to circle back after El Salvador, no iOS app to download. I’ve got other priorities while down there.

But I WILL circle back to this! The networking implementation is intriguing. I have some ideas & started talking to people who can help guide.

Yea I would love to set up some kind of non-IP network. I've recently been thinking of getting my Ham license.

Me too! I’ve been thinking about scaling medium scale mesh networks. First, I want to architect, deploy, & maintain a small frennet.

Start tagging #reticulum with some of these things.

Will take a look at this later too. Always curious about new fun things to explore! ^.^

Work is bombarding me with k8s, grafana and influx plus tech support for some random dude complaining that their Outlook is too slow ... with a 29GB profile. xD

So I usually sneak in a little reading on the side to distract my mind. Waterfall modell and all. ^^

My condolences on the grafana thing. We had some frustration with grafana and Prometheus that was annoying

The thing that immediately comes to mind is propogating Bitcoin blocks over LoRa

Rural LN gossip too

Oh that's interesting 🔥

Also a sort of vpn for note submission

🤘

Snuck a quick peak at their README. Interesting features, for sure! Just... Python? Not sure about that one. x) The rat's tail that are python dependencies and env management is long as heck... and it isn't particularily fast from what I have experienced. But, language and runtime aside, I still like the premise of the project! Will read into the depths a little more some time. ^^

I said the same thing.

“Ugh. Another fucking Python project.”

what’s your take? i read about it back when i first started learning about CJDNS and I2P, but never read deeper than a quick glance

The identity side of #reticulum is really interesting but I don’t know if I’m totally sold on it. I wonder if nostr did it better or not. The networking side seems more than solid though, I think it actually works! I’ve been itching to try the system.
