So yes. I do have several licenses to legally carry in about 37 states. DC makes it very difficult for non-residents to get a permit if you aren't connect to the satanic pedo death cult.
Iโve heard itโs actually rather easy, the problem is youโre not allowed to carry within some distance of a government building. And the whole thing is government buildings ๐
I would be prot3cted by teavel laws until I got to my hotel. But it is a bit tricky with me being a driver and very often dropping guests off at various museums (which are all inconvenienly gubment owned). They do make it easy run afoul of regulations, which isn't point.

Foaming pepper spray. The foam comes out like sticky string, and is less likely to blow back into your face.
Batons may still illegal. I'd have to check.
I heard that if you carry without a license, theyโll give you a hard time but ultimately canโt convict you of anything because itโs unconstitutional.
