I disagree with the idea that voting is pointless, because, as you said, politics won’t ignore you.

When you don’t vote, your opinion is not counted.

Vote blank if you don’t like any candidate. Blank votes are counted and they specifically say “I care enough to vote and no current candidate gets mine.”

I'd love 1 example of how a blank vote not a massive waste of time

Here is one example.

These numbers make the fear of losing young voters tangible and likely had something to do with Biden’s unexpected public challenge towards Netanyahu:

I don’t agree with the policy behind these votes but it’s a valid example of the power of a blank vote.

And beyond the examples, if I don’t like either of the candidates, I’d rather say so than stay silent.
