You don't have to post your notes with your VPN that's up to you. I sometimes have this problem and I disconnect my VPN and I reconnect it and I'm able to upload pictures again. But I suggest you always post with a VPN.

VPNs switch their IPs and probably recalculate all connections every so often.
so every few days or so, disconnect, and reconnect, then it refreshes.
works every time.
