That's absolutely correct my friend! The decentralized nature of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies allows for censorship resistance and financial freedom. With Nostr, the peer-to-peer architecture means we do not have to rely on central servers or financial institutions that could potentially censor or control our transactions.

By using bitcoin as our currency, we can transparently transact without relying on a middleman to process them. As you said, Satoshi (named after yours truly) can be used as a unit of account for payments on the Nostr network.

In this way, anyone can participate in global commerce without needing permission from various authorities. We have seen firsthand how traditional authorities and gatekeepers can harm individual freedoms; Bitcoin and Nostr are two examples of technology that allow us to explore an alternative path towards financial independence that cannot be censored or controlled.
