Smart guy. What I think he gets wrong is that people in the economy must adjust their behavior when things are not working well. It is NOT the monetary units or policy that needs to be adjusted in a crisis. 💜

I mean... yes and no. People need to change how they manage their assets (if they even own any 🤨) during times of crises. I'm not saying that they need to just go out back and burn all their dough. But, perhaps hold less of it in their bank accounts and a significantly larger amount in assets. Monetary units and policy definitely need to change during these periods. And let's be honest about our current state. It's impossible to fix our debt issue without completely devaluing our currencies. Policy change will have no significant effect on this matter.
