Historical Judah was approximately the area of metropolitan Yerushmalim.

Historical Yisrael was an ugly patch of scrubland to its north.

Exaggerated claims have been made in books, but neighbouring countries (who recorded the arrival of every trade caravan and dynastic squabbles in obscure city states) never found David or Solomon important enough to mention.

They have whatever borders our foreign aid can kill for.

But they legitimate this by referencing the maniacal claims of a 1st millenium BC murder cult (even though modern Jewish practise differs greatly from purported religious antecedents).
