Think of the podcast series as a first draft of the first draft of a book. I get to outline each part of Cathedral to build each episode, then I do the episode and use the audio to generate a transcript. Now that I have transcripts I can treat those like rough drafts of chapters. Once I finish the series, I'll have most of what I need to write the book(s). It's a form of "function stacking" I learned from permaculture.
