I once looked up to and wanted to be like Da Vinci when I grew up. Recently I read Walter Isaacson’s book on him where he comes across as quite lazy and incapable to seeing a project through to completion. I guess I did turn out like him.

For sure, I like how when he seemed interested in one of his own projects he would go through the trouble of finding out all the random details. Down to measuring bits of his town to get proportions right in a drawing. Most would just eyeball it 😂
