Listening to the news while working and got pissed at something that usually causes me to laugh and shake my head at how dumb it is but, US politics is such an absolute clown show at this point. I am sickened at what has happened in this country regardless of some sort of political ideology that you may subscribe to.

The clown show here is amazing and I don't understand how the people of this country cannot see through what is occurring and how those in power are doing nothing more than looting from the failing empire.

The fiat standard has done nothing but grown larger as the albatross around the neck of elderly Uncle Sam who can no longer hold his own head up.

I'm cynical from past life experience. I'm hopeful seeing my children's wonder and amazement to the world. I'm also hopeful because I've seen the ingenuity, creativity, hopefullness, supportiveness, and unregulated unfettered motivation of the Bitcoin community and the NOSTR community.

To the supporters and to the Devs keep up the great work and don't let up. Also, take care of yourselves and your families.

I wonder if you can see the irony of your cynicism for the present coupled with your hope for your children’s future.

This kind of thinking will never cease to both amaze and deeply sadden me.

Sorry to be a downer. I know it’s already too late for them and there’s nothing you can do about it now.

Oh no I can see the irony and it saddens me too. I have this conversation with my wife every so often about how I'm worried about their future. The only thing that I am hopeful for is that there are people out there who do not act the way that society is telling us to act and they raise their children different than what the current status quo is.

I figure if I can stay counter to that my children are going to have a rough life ahead of them but perhaps their children will be in a better position. That's why I'm hopeful with Bitcoin in trying to help secure my grandkids a and great grandkids a better future

Also I can completely understand why people would choose not to want to have children at this point in time. However to be honest my kids are one of the things that helps keep me sane and grounded

Thank you for the reply and for considering a different point of view.

As somewhat of a nihilist, my opinions are valid to me, but I truly don’t expect anyone else to share them.

It’s always nice to come across someone who likes to think about difficult topics though and not merely avoid them.

Thank you for your comment. I enjoy reading others opinions and viewpoints. It's how we grow and there is nothing wrong with the individualized approach to life.
