Nope. Not at all. Most of the people I've found have come through organic networked growth.
When I say web of trust I’m not referencing the proposed idea that was being talked about on here a few weeks ago. (Or company? I didn’t follow that closely)

I never have done that. Never would have occurred to me to do that. I'm not here to "grow a following" or anything like that, so my approach may just be very different.
