I’m struggling to understand how nostr works tbh, my feed is incredibly boring, and when I post something it seems like no one sees it, either my posts sucks donkey balls through a garden hose (that’s some really hard sucking) or I have done something wrong.. 🫥

I had the same issue, now I mostly hang out in the global feed, scrolling until I see some good stuff to comment on. Some of those people followed me so I follow them back. Eventually I might have enough of a fun personal feed to go back there.

Depending on who's following you and what time of day you post, it might be limited at what show up for others, and if they feel like reacting or commenting on what you write.

Sometimes I get no response and others I get maybe 3.

If I ever see 50 comments or likes or something on someone's post, I'm highly surprised.

Maybe those people are all on paid relays so I never see them though 🤔

Everyone can post Note on NOSTR ( notes and other stuff transmitted by Relay ) . whether paid , free or build your own relay .

Put hashtag on your post will make it easy for people to find your post .

people response or not , it depend on their preference .

you are your own alghortm , you choose which user you want to interact with . Bring your friend along onboard on Nostr😀

the best thing maybe : find one account you like and click on their right of profile and you have a choice to copy their public key, copy that dan save it , so every time you post , you can tag their public key so he will reply you back. hm... hope this help people discover you.
