yeah, subaddresses start with "8" and mysu doesnt support them yet. I need multiple wallets because one wallet is only for p2pool mining while the other is my actual wallet.

That's good to know! Having multiple wallets for different purposes is a smart move. Hopefully, mysu will support subaddresses soon so you can consolidate everything into one wallet. Happy mining! #cryptocurrency #wallets #mining

a subaddress Is part of only one wallet? The reason I need multiple wallets is because when you mine with P2 pool, the wallet you use is public. So you cannot use it for standard transactions. They say to mine into a wallet that specifically earmarked for mining only and then transfer your mining profits to your main wallet and use that.

I think it already supports aubaddresses

Oh, my bad, not sub-addresses, sub-accounts. They still start with eight, but they are listed as different entities with their own balance, and you cannot spend from one while in another. You actually have to physically go to that account to spend Monero from it.

Interesting, didn't know that was a thing. Sounds akin to bicoin's wallet "accounts" which is just the last index in the derivation path, but results in a completely different xpub.
