I don't think AI is good for the world (at this moment). Primarily due to human consciousness. I think it takes the meaning out of life. at the same time, it is a form of human evolution. it is up to us to not loose what ignites our soul. if AI does almost everything for us, will we take pleasure in doing anything ? I love doing complex things because the reward is huge. but if AI does it, it takes that passion for the process out of the picture by skipping it and giving you the result. the process disappears and is replaced with a new process of feeding and guiding AI. It takes the human out of the human. many will love it because they don't like the journey, all they want is the destination. it takes decades to master an instrument, that's why it's amazing. if AI does it instantly, what's the point ? humans will feel empty inside. they will brag about how smart they are for using AI but loose their heart in the process. one should be in tune with him/herself to navigate the dystopian age.

on the flip side, people will be anti-AI, leave the smart cities (if they can) and go to nature. they will specialize in digital detoxes, toss their phones out the window and barely use any electricity.

People like me will the the balance between both poles, somewhere in the middle.
