I almost can't believe it is real, but it's real.

Android phone that is working as modem for now has no google play services, and as it happens, every single google app nags you if it hasn't got play services enabled.

fdroid has some nice alternatives, simple dialer, simple sms. So now I can take calls on it as well, receive SMS, without google.

The millimetre wave emitting G51 is now out of use. It has a bunch of things on it that I might want to deal with later, but actually, no. Nothing on there isn't part of what I use on my pc that I actually need. So it's now in purgatory, awaiting its perdition. Just need to make sure the rooted, degooglified phone is serving adequately, for the time being, when I get cabled internet organised, I'm assigning my spare laptop to VoIP phone duties, setting up a nice HD camera, condenser mic, and when that's done, I need to sell my bluetooth speakers and get some at least dual driver, wired speakers.

Soon there will be no unnecessary EMF coming from anything in my possession.
