I think I've heard of that article on Joseph, possibly by Frank Chodorov. I hate to admit that the story of Joseph recommending to pharaoh a divinely inspired plan of 20% taxation that ends up making the Egyptians slaves of the state has long bothered me. Perhaps God allowed it as a preemptive punishment of the Egyptians for eventually enslaving his people Israel? 🤷🏽
