Before Bitcoin, your elderly family member who didn’t trust the banks would hoard cash and gold.

When they died, the family would get access to the deceased prepper’s money.

There was no “password” on the money.

The Satscard *could* be like that. Normal people who want to save some “cash in the digital mattress” without worrying about seed phrases and passwords could use a satscard.

Is there a way to think about this and build bitcoin gold/cash-like products that survives the test of time for the average prepper hoarder?

Perhaps a fire/water-resistant cover for the satscard is all we need?

I have always assumed SatsCards will float around like cash in the local economy with varying denominations noted on them and verifiable in seconds with an NFC reading device. I also think this solves the high fee FUD so many are screeching about these days.
