How did hackers in the past learn about the systems they played with unless they were free to try new things and explore them at their limits, or for things the systems were not designed for?
The market's price was paid to have it included in the chain too. The fact that it exists seems to satisfy the requirements to have it included.
We don't have to like it, but it's is a part of bitcoin's history now. Celebrate it for its ingenuity, if nothing else, or whatever positive quality you can see. We are better than focusing solely on the negative traits.
