I have read a documentary saying that people living in some villages live longer.

Their daily commute and their daily activities were far superior than any gym weight lifting.

Just for fun, I’ve started to register my activity of shoveling the snow on my Apple Watch. It recorded 4.29KM of walking (take the snow, walk, dump, walk back, take snow, dump).

So in 1:18:16 I burnt 678 calories versus a 43 minutes of weight lifting for 168 calories.

I burnt 5 x more calories shoveling the snow than a gym sequence.

TLDR ; cancel your snow remover contract and gym membership and start shoveling.
