that's speculative af, not that it would matter anyway. #grapheneos is open source, anyone can inspect the code. they are by far the best, so too bad for you i guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

Let me know when you're done reviewing all that code.

thx. i reviewed it last year and i regularly keep up with the changelog. it's well organized and not hard to follow. but don't take my word for it. you can review it yourself here

I'm not a developer, so I can't confirm. I would have to trust them; which I don't. Sounds like you have yourself convinced though.

with actual data and tens of thousands of independent devs reviewing, testing, and contributing ro it's code, there's no need to convince. no shade, but considering the fact that you are not a developer and can't confirm code, i'm sure you haven't reviewed the code of the devices you are currently using. i would also bet that you use a closed source mobile os whose code cannot be confirmed as well as the politics of their individual devs. i'm not here to convince you to use gos. though i highly recommend it. either way, stay safe out there. pv 🤙🏻💜

Non-sequiter. But PV to you too. 🤙

Admittedly, I'm not an expert, so I don't know -- can anyone provide evidence that GrapheneOS has thousands of contributors? Best I can see, per GitHub, less than 100 users have merged into main on GitHub since 2018. Hardly tens of thousands as stated in this thread.

apologies if my statement was unclear, i meant tens of thousands of eyes on the code, many of whom also test, and contribute and then there's also independent auditing and other orgs that use their code https://grapheneos.org/faq#audit

Hi Ava.

Can I unstall it on a Samsung S9 or similar or does it have to be the pixel?

has to be a google (factory) unlocked pixel
