Something me, and my gay & trans friends have pondered on the past few years is that if they can call us faggots, why can’t we call them it back?
This meme was nothing more than my personal representation of how it feels to be a queer woman on nostr who is constantly seeing folks degrade and hate on the queer community, using the same format of “facebook boomer meme”. You know you’ve seen it everyday on here, but if I post my own version, now i’m the bad guy?
I'm not saying you're a bad guy. I just think it's purposefully inflammatory and attracts negative energy. Tough way to start the day off 😅

I think the route of being kind in the face of hatred in this situation, does nothing but make us (queer community) look weak.
Jesus was seen as weak. Aggression does not equal strength. Be careful what people, ideas, and words you give power to.
You're never going to "out-hate" someone, it's an impossible task. If you want to change hearts and minds you need to be capable of seeing from their perspective and meeting them where they are.
I've been on both sides of this issue, and I can guarentee you that 95% of the people involved are not, in their hearts, evil or just stupid bigots.
But most of all, it's a beautiful day! I hope the rest of it goes well for you too.
They should all be ridiculed. Every single one of the authoritarian class and each one of their sheep.
Division of the commoners is a very effective shield for them.
Comedic ridicule shines a spotlight on their game and we should be doing that as much as possible.
Because you always have to mention your sexual orientation. Just say friends. No one cars what or who you do in your bedroom. Its sooooo boring already. Its “ look at me look at me. “ Its attention seeking.
It’s never that serious though, the obsession with hating gay people for mentioning their sexuality has far surpassed that reasoning. Yall are now louder and more obnoxious than the queer people mentioning their sexuality, it’s attention seeking.
If only you knew how attention seeking Trump supporters are in Pennsylvania.
