WoT obsoletes orange checks. The whole idea of verifying everyone is a non-starter stupid wishful thinking authoritarian approach.

Bots are not a problem. Embrace throwaway identities where it doesn’t matter if you’re a bot or a human. What matters is how other people perceive your message.

WoT though imperfect, solves some of it while avoiding the chaos of verifying everyone. With time, we can make it really good and abuse-resistant.

Say no to checks! Blue, orange, doesn’t matter. Just NO.

WOT gets us pretty far. Bottum up level control over the feed based on users centers around the user.

Top-down control comes from the owners of the relays, kicking out overtly known bad actors. I'd argue both are vital and together enhanced by cross communication.

WoT takes us backward. embrace anonymity, and embrace verifying shit. plebs just wanna be lazy and let the algos do everything for them once again. it is wrong.
