My Lord that is ripe and ready 🫡

Smaller than I like, but as I say “at least a mouthful”

Sometimes that’s enough

🍅⚡ congratulations friend!

So far I’ve only gotten any off a volunteer vine. Nothing from anything I’ve planted yet 🫠

I put mine in the ground a month later and they were stunted

Had the same problem last year 😒. Too cold, too dry, then too hot. Looks good and hopefully there are more in the near future.

And it’s a great looking tomato!

Thank you, its a Pineapple beefsteak it goes orange when ready

First tomato in september? Isn't that late?

Horribly. We started seeds in first week of April. Finally planted mid-June, ignored completely

I have a large book of learning experiences this year lol

Why ignored?

We had an “issue” different compost and different location lead to small bushing dahlias, so July was replanting out crop.

We haven't soil tested buy my guess to much nitrogen.

We had 4 plots of 4x10 of toms, 20 of the dahlias

Ah. I believe you will find a norm eventually. It might take more than one season, but then you will be more effective with less and with a confident schedule. You might even find time for something else. Stay eager for the next season...

Just planted lettuces for fall, we have been communicative as to our issues so I am very hopeful as my delightful partner starts to see a larger vision

Excellent
