Am I the only one who cringes to the idea of companies incentivizing every little action from their employees with sats?

It's reward children's 😳
Isn't the act of hiring an employee that same thing?
👀
I'm referring to things such as "paying 10 sats to employees showing up on time in a meeting". It should be workplace ethos, not something you try to manipulate people into doing using some Pavlovian-like methods. If people don't show up on time, was this meeting useful in the first place? Does the work those people are doing mean anything to them?
To me it feels like trying to apply a patch to an absurd, sick approach to work. And I'm not even talking about incentivizing exercise with sats. What's next? Number of children, choice of spouse? Where does it end?
No you’re not the only one. It’s a bad idea.
I don't see the problem. If I have the option of not showing up and not getting my 10 sats that is great, no? Before I was forced to go, now I can decide to go or not? I wish companies actually removed salaries entirely and just paid sats for everything.
