I'm saying this now before new years and starting now, my goal for next year is to completely unbank myself. No ties to fiat. I want to have full control of my money.

Good luck. Love the energy, but speaking from experience, I highly recommend a balanced approach. You will have more difficulty in doing this than you think.
Tons of prepaid cards, purchasing limitations, and lots of hassle paying for rent, gas, and bills (if you use a prepaid gas card, they usually require for an actual phone number—no virtual numbers—and the app needs access to your location data, so less privacy etc), no direct deposit or check cashing ability, tax liabilities and fees on your BTC translactions, and more.
It is ideologically solid as an idea, but quite the costly mountain, in both time and money, in practice.
Agree with nostr:npub1f6ugxyxkknket3kkdgu4k0fu74vmshawermkj8d06sz6jts9t4kslazcka it’s a nice idea but a real bitch in practice. I like jack maller’s approach of living on credit, getting paid in Bitcoin, selling just enough to cover the months bills. You could use Fold as your only tie to fiat, any credit card as a necessary evil, and get 90% of the way there.
Sometimes you have no choice because they debank you first, and then you are forced to figure it out. Planning ahead is key. That's the end of my TED Talk
