You are a quite new to Bitcoin (<10years meaning you missed out on the big gains). I understand that you are interested in NGU over privacy.
Once you "made it" you'll understand why rich people care for their privacy and use off shore banks.
Monero is an offshore bank for already rich Bitcoin OGs and a safe method to spend the money.
I figured that out 15 years ago, which is also the reason I figured out that a private store of value is what I personally need today over a little more purchasing power measured in collapsing fiat currencies.
