I think Luke Dashers proposal to decrease the blocksize back to 1MB is the simplest solution should we need to do something, segwits blocksize increase was a compromise with big blockers and as you can you can't negotiate with terrorists.
I was, and I remember going to a meetup at the Bitcoin Center on Wall Street and seeing Jon Mohan wearing a camouflage UASF hat and a bullet belt made of soft forks, and I only then did I realize there was some serious shit going down. 😆
