I'm not an artist or a doctor or anything but I created image specifically for the Nostrovia podcast.

I wanted to express the schitzophrenic and disconnected nature of nostr that emerges from the dumb relay architecture, as well as the independent but interrelated apps built on it, but with it all being part of the same thing, which I was thinking of as "nostrovia" at the time.

The orange part represents Bitcoin. Zaps weren't a thing yet and it wasn't clear how much of a role Bitcoin and Lightning would play, but it was definitely part of it.

The small dot in the middle of the maze-like structure represents the core ideals at the centre of nostr - whatever it is that we all seem to align ourselves around. To me it represents individual sovereignty. This is surrounded by the maze thing because everyone finds their own weird and indirect way to discovering why individual sovereignty is important and how it relates to inter-sovereignty (doing interesting things with other people without permission from someone else).

The block at the bottom-right with a crack in it represents Branle.
