The White House power grab of Washington DC. While it seems like a positive step for the city. The national implications are sickening.

ah... I'm against crime and I like to live in places with as little as possible, dc gvmnt had the tools to fix this and chose not do it, it seems unlikely to me that this will happen in other places, but again the local gvmnts have the tools to fix it but won't while saying they don't want the federal gvmnt to fix it, as unlikely as it is to happen maybe they deserve it, and if I lived somewhere where the local gvmnt is choosing not to fix things so shamelesly I'd welcome it

homeless are given choice to go to shelter or receive health treatment, so I don't understand what ppl against this want, homelessness, crime or just contempt for any real system/action that is kinda ok but not better than imaginary systems/actions
