I thought this account was dead

April fools

Happy you're back skipper

You can feel the decentralization oozing out from this. Lol

Still trying to understand what BlueSky actually solves exactly. I guess it serves as a Strategic Bluehair Reserve. We know exactly where to find mentally infirm crybullies should we ever need to weaponize them against our enemies.

NOSTR fixes that

But its federated. You can just... Oh wait, no you cant... Nvm

The spam problem could easily be solved without KYC by making problem users post a bond of say $10-25 that is refunded when the account is closed.

Or forfeit if enough complaints from users with high reputation think the account should be shitcanned.

No

I repeat it any day if necessary.

The company model is dead. Nobody gets to improve the state of the world through state licensed, funded or subsidised business. At size all of them get compromised and turn into enforcement arms of the state.

The only thing that matters are indestructible parallel structures, protocols, p2p networks, full encryption and anonymisation of everything.

Nostr fixes this.
