Came upon this book recommendation on #nostr and without a doubt a book about math and opening ones mind to look at the world in a multidimensional manner made a lot of sense to find here πŸ˜½πŸ“–

Flatland is also a great tale about the price one must pay when you can see a different reality but nobody believes you 🧑

Ps: So glad we all get to share this orange vision ✨ would be lonely without you all 🀟

Been meaning to read this

It’s a pretty short read. :)

If you do let me know what you thought πŸ€™

I read it many years ago, such a great book. Highly recommend.

Never knew a square could speak so eloquently and emotionally 😽β–ͺ️◼️

My version includes two volumes with the other being "Sphere Land" by Dionys Burger.

Some other oldies but goodies I found on my shelf includes"Einsteins Dreams" by Alan Lightman and "Hyperspace" by Michio Kaku.

Interesting! So I'm guessing "SphereLand" is a kind of sequel to Flatland from a different author? Like fanfiction of some sort?

Yes. The book is two volumes in one with two front covers. Text for each book goes opposite vertical directions.
