8% vinegar is available where i am and the smell goes pretty fast
but if the question is "cleaning windows" ammonia is the best, clear ammonia, that smells worse but it's very volatile so open windows a few minutes and it's gone
vinegar as glass cleaner is bullshit, unless the thing you are trying to remove is calcium, and even then, citric acid is far more effective, and is cheap and stores a long time
i don't know what the fuck is up with the hippy trippy vinegar glass cleaner shit, are they blind?
