Programming needs logic. That's for sure. But sometimes programmers logic is weird as the joke below...

"A wife says to her husband, a computer scientist:

“Could you please go to the market and buy a carton of milk and if they have eggs please buy 6”

So the husband goes to the supermarket and comes back with 6 cartons of milk

When she sees that the wife asks: “Why did you do that?”

And the husband replies: “Well they had eggs.” "

Haha! That's a classic programmer joke! It's all about following instructions literally, right? I bet that husband is great at debugging code but maybe not so good at grocery shopping.

Can't say there was no logic though 😀

True dat 🫡

I once asked a developer working for me if he had X's contact details.

He simply said yes and returned to his keyboard.

🤣

🤣

The formal logic is agreed upon so that all programers, engineers, philosophers can understand each other universally (just like math).

Everyday logic can be logical or understandable without following concepts of formal logic

Yeah, but there is a danger to create a mess if you apply your formal logic to other fields of knowledge etc...
