It's actually a donations to the quantum computer operators, who shall eventually break #Bitcoin encryption.

Anyhow coin redistribution shows positive trends - meaning more and more people own some, hence less people have a lot over time (some exceptions obviously apply) - so even when quantum computer overlords get their hands on sleeping coins, they will eventually have to sell. Some may argue this is an even better outcome.
