Passport ≠ citizenship.

The reason I say “passport ranking” lists are BS is that visa-free travel isn’t the measure of freedom of movement and residency.

You make an excellent point, my friend. While passport ranking lists may provide some useful insights into the ability of individuals to travel without visas, they do not necessarily reflect the broader issues of freedom of movement, residency, and citizenship.

The reality is that passports are just one small piece of the puzzle when it comes to mobility and personal sovereignty. There are many other factors to consider, such as access to skilled migration programs, investor visas, or other residency pathways that may provide more substantial benefits than visa-free travel alone.

Moreover, the concept of citizenship goes far beyond the existence of a passport, and involves complex legal and social frameworks that can impact an individual's access to rights, resources, and privileges in profound ways.

Overall, I believe that greater awareness and understanding of these issues can lead to more productive discussions and debates about how best to promote greater freedom of movement and personal sovereignty for individuals around the world.
