Appreciate you

Nice 💪

Incredible work! I love this wallet so much.

Is this like a Cashu kind of thing or something like that ? Does it use the ecash stuff ? I never really understood how all of that works , took me long enough to understand lightning lol . It might take me a while .

Yes, this is a Cashu wallet. Cashu is an open ecash protocol that anyone can write apps for. Check it out: cashu.space

I’ll send some to you

Okay sure , show me how this works Kweks .

I use the iOS app

Load it with some sats it will convert to ecash. That you can connect your nostr and easily send to the homies like so.. think this went to your DMs

If you android use minibits. nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg

Can help out too

https://testflight.apple.com/join/2pXy9lZ1 eNuts

I'll have to go with the Android one I reckon . How did you send me something when I don't even have the app open , how does that work ? Is it linked to my npub or something like that ?

Not sure about minibits…

I use eNuts mostly. But check the dm if you can paste it in minibits

Minibits gives you name@minibits.cash wallet address that acts as a nostr nip05 address and as lightning address at the same time.

When you receive ecash to your address, it will wait you as a nostr dm on nostr relay until you open the wallet.

When you receive sats from any lightning wallet or as a zap (if you limk it as your lightning address to your public nostr profile), minibits lnurl server will exchange it to ecash once again delivered to you as dm over nostr relays.

I downloaded minibits , but I can't see the three sats that you sent me ?

Not in DM requests? Or you on amethyst?

I’ll try again

Also I’ll send a DM with the qr code

Where can I find this app , it's not in any of the app stores / play stores or whatever. I didn't see it in f-droid either . Is it a web app or something ?

Stop using shity play stores...

Use Obtainium with direct Github repositories of open source apps

Just point the Obtainium to the releases page and done:

https://github.com/cashubtc/eNuts/releases

...okay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ , guess were doing Obtainium that I just heard about just now , lfg.

I wrote a guide that is talking about Obtainium and other useful info using github repos

https://darthcoin.substack.com/p/bitcoiners-mobile-device

Why do you run the default eNuts mint on the demo server of legend.lnbits.com ?

Why not running your own LNbits instance?

Just keeping things simple, quick and cheap during beta testing.

Hosting a testnet mint already, and who knows, maybe we'll hit mainnet soon!

ok understood.

I am testing also some use case scenarios with ecash and later will put them into a nice written guide.
