Narcissist - I would put a high probability on Elon understanding money because he founded PayPal, did a deep dive on Bitcoin before putting it on Tesla balance sheet (and then retracting) and he thinks in first principles.

IMO, his narcissism implies that he thinks only he can save the world (while he is the major beneficiary in its destruction) The technocrats dream of control is incompatible with Bitcoin and I think he (and others) know it.

IMO they understand that btc cannot be controlled as long as it is used as intended.

This is the reason why Larry Fink is so gung-ho on btc. He wants to create a world (in 10 or 20 years time) where the vast majority of btc is held by permissioned custodians.

Also makes me suspicious of the strategic reserve.
