I have successfully transfered all my 2FA entries from Google Authenticator to Aegis.
One more step taken to better my privacy.
Transferring was super easy. If anyone would like to do this and would like some help. I would be happy to help. I did run into a snag along the way, so I would like to make it easier for others.
I would love to do this. I hadn’t considered that google Authenticator would have privacy implications. I’m hindsight it’s google, how could it not. Would love any tips you can give. Thanks!

Aegis will let you import qr codes. You can group export accounts from Google authenticator and it will display a QR code, you will need to take pictures of the qr codes the Google authenticator provides as the app will not let you screenshot. So to do this you will need a 2nd device (like a tablet, 2nd phone, computer with a webcam). You can then scan the qr code with Aegis and it will bulk import accounts.
The problem I had was if you bulk to many accounts in an export from Google authenticator aegis will not be able to read the aqar code, so I only exported 6 accounts at a time. Still went pretty fast. Just make sure you delete the pics after you use them to import.
