One’s nostr experience is largely defined by the client you use. This has pros and cons. For example, nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg makes strong use of hashtags, while nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 provides a global/universe feed that can be highly tuned.

Beyond that, it’s about the relays you connect to. For example, wss://welcome.nostr.wine relays only new user notes/posts.

It’s a lot to take in, and it’s all still very much a work in progress, but the benefits of no algos and no corporate overseers makes it very worthwhile to those of us here.
