Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the input 🥰 It's been very helpful and comforting in this process. I'm guessing from this suggestion that it won't be a problem to have two hardware wallets, which is what was holding me back from doing exactly as you're saying ❤️👍

Having two is not a problem. You can migrate your seed phrase to another hardware wallet in the future. Or you can use a combination of multiple hardware devices to create a multisignature scheme, which is a new wallet that requires a quorum of signatures to spend.
