Nostr events can cite/tag other events, creating a mini-blockchain. Now imagine if we had real Smart Contracts over Nostr event chains. The next state of the mini-chain is determined by bitcoin or solidity scripts anyone can verify.

The fun part is that we can have multiple smart contract VMs running in the same Nostr ecosystem. In fact, anyone can create their own smart contract language and executioner. They can all have different properties.

In fact, we can probably recreate Bitcoin as a Nostr chain of events, including UTXOs, mining, proof of work, monetary policy, etc.

I don't think we should recreate bitcoin, but I do think smart contracts are coming to Nostr chains.
