Yeshua?

It transliterates YHWH as “Yah” or “Yahweh” instead of “LORD”
I’ve always taken issue that Christians adopt the Jewish practice of not pronouncing the name.
There are other translations that break the mold, but none of them as good as the NASB, which this is based on. It’s probably the best modern translation around so I’m particularly excited for this edition.
That's interesting, all I ever hear about is "KJV or you're going to hell," though there are some who think the ESV is okayish. I'm more of a NKJV enjoyer myself. May have to start reading NASB or this new translation to see what it's like.
Too bad we don't all have the time and will to learn Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic so that we don't have to rely on the good intentions of translators (who don't all have good intentions).
The ESV is good too, there’s a reason it’s become the new standard in the conservative evangelical world.
Here’s a cheap version of the Legacy Standard Bible btw, I don’t think it’s available digitally yet. https://www.christianbook.com/legacy-standard-single-column-hardcover-black/9781636641034/pd/641034?event=ESRCG
Another cool thing it does, which you can see in the preview, is capitalize all Old Testament quotations in the New Testament.
