Good on you for sharing the experience. I chose an accountant that didn't restrict which exchange I used. I prefer bitcoin-only and Bitaroo is my favourite! The accountant that I chose is a bit incompetent though. Returns and audits go through alright but we were given the wrong number for rolling over at the start, a few other stuff ups and now their email filter blocks my emails that come from my own domain and include the word bitcoin. Yeah, I'm leaving them.
Thank you. The rollover has happened and our accountant has been really good…they don’t need to be involved in how I purchase bitcoin though as long as all the docs and custodial proof is all in check. There was an ok podcast about it I dug up. Let me know if you want me to find it.
