1. Im self hosting my own flotilla. Can i put multiple blossom servers in there as defaults, and it will prioritize them based on the order input in the .env file? Id like to start it with something like primal's (which appears to be the default), then have the next one be my custom blossom server which id whitelist for people i have talked with and understand what it means for me to host their media used in flotilla.

2. Is there an event id for the space i could input into pokey as a subscription? That way anyone talking in the space id get a pokey notification?

1. Flotilla attempts to use community relays *as* blossom servers, so that would be your best option. Otherwise, it will use your personal blossom server list (it'll only use the first server in the list currently). If neither of these scratch your itch I'm open to creating a way for relays to recommend blossom servers, or something like that.

2. I don't use pokey, so I'm not sure, but a space = a relay, so if you can ask pokey to give you notifications for all events on a relay, or for a custom filter that would be your best bet.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. so far, the most user friendly auth relay ive found is https://github.com/bitvora/sw2 but it doesnt have a blossom relay included, unfortunately. Everything else ive tried to deploy on my computer hasnt worked out for my current technical ability.

Have you tried zooid? It's purpose built for use as a community relay

If you don't mind a hosted version, you could try https://hosting.coracle.social. It's not too bad, but definitely requires some technical ability. For a relay that doesn't have blossom, flotilla will use your top personal blossom server to upload stuff (and will do the same for other users as well). However, these uploads will be encrypted, with the key included in the message you send, so they will be as private as the messages in the chat

Excellent. Thanks for the replies. My goal with this experiment is the client and the infrastructure all running on my lap top in my garage. I have successfully done that ( somehow), next i have to get a few normie friends to try it out.

I believe you hinted at this in a previous post, but are you going to add the option to log in with the raw nsec to flotilla ?

as it stands, nsec.app or any bunker signer that i try and use with it...simply can't consistently authorize actions and basically makes the app unusable. Only when i log in using amber with my flotilla app on the same device, or with an nsec that i created within the app /wepapp can i use flotilla successfully.

unfortunately, i think this is the reality of remote signing authorization and nostr at the moment...

Yes, unfortunately I have to agree. I am currently working on a MPC signer implementation with email recovery however, so it will be very nearly normie-friendly
