Trump isn’t playing 4D chess, he’s barely playing intermediate 2D chess. Lucky for him his opponents aren’t great either.

The reserve isn’t a losing move, but also not a winning one. Lots to play for.

Winning move for the US is simple imho. Launch a government backed USD stablecoin, and push out tether etc. Proceeds go 50% to bonds and 50% BTC. More BTC with interest on bonds and the USD remains the dominant currency for a very long time.

As it stands there is plenty of opportunity for other countries to displace the USD. Could actually cause BTC to succeed even faster.

Time will tell, but I think this is going to get wild soon. The door to front run is wide open.
